Idaho Adventures

Hello from an adorable, tiny coffee shop in Idaho! Random, right?! lol I’m traveling as nanny with my oldest sister, brother-in-law, and 4 nephews as they visit for a wedding. Yes, it’s been crazy and yes a lot of fun!! πŸ˜‰

I’ve been LOVING all the cold weather, fluffy kittens, green fields, farm trucks, sweatshirts, and toddler smiles. ❀

Perry editing upcoming book, and me writing this post!

Some highlights so far:

pulling over on the road trip and climbing around on a little hill with a backdrop of snowy mountains

having good conversations with my sis and bro-in-law ❀

getting to say hi to my Oregon friends, Idaho friends, and old Colorado friends for the first time in years

totally had grass and flower petals in my hair in that pic XD

texting funny stories to my family back home

sitting cross legged on the rustic wood floor and petting the old Aussie for a long time ❀

singing around the piano well past midnight

“In Christ Alone” , “It is Well”, and even a Christmas song!

buying cute socks because my feet freeze ppl lol

getting shown drumming tips out in the shop and jamming with the guys on guitar and base (Veggie Tales theme song anyone??? πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚)

way too fun πŸ˜€

carrying a sleeping toddler

laying in the grass under a tree and just watching the sky

running barefoot after kiddos

getting to play around on a guitar and bro-in-law showing me chords!!

making friends with lil gal and rolling up my sweatshirt sleeves so she’d have hands XD

darling, silly little lady ❀

calling my bf’s on the phone and laughing really hard together

eating πŸ˜€ It’s a good thing, y’all

dressing up the boys in their suspenders and bow ties as ring-bearers

going across the border for shopping and snagging an Oregon tshirt ❀

laughing over hilarious adorable things my nephews say

counting the stains from lil friends on my long pair of jeans… chocolate doughnut, Cheetos, footprint, greasy fingerprints, grass stains, enchilada sauce… y’all, I styling πŸ˜›

“swing-dancing” at the wedding with my lil girly friend

cuddling sleepy kittens who have made the trailer we’re staying in their headquarters lol

such cute fluff balls

I’ve never ever traveled before and this has been 100% cool and hopefully I’ve been a big help with the boys. πŸ™‚ Looking forward to seeing my friends&fam at home again, but for now… here’s to more adventures! ~A

What you been up to? Cold or warm weather?

Right?!! It was crazy windy out and they were shivering and cuddling each other , but the one was like “TIME TO EXPLORE!!!” and climbed all over me and hopped off through the grass. πŸ˜πŸ˜‚

                1. Yeah! I only know of a few, but my mom is the one that keeps track of everything! I know we’re going to Tennessee, Louisiana, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Michigan, Florida, and who knows where else!

                2. WOW that sounds so so fun!!! What are you most looking forward to? I think Tennessee would be a blast because of some musicians we know there, and it’d be cool to see the Michigan lakes, but I actually really want to go to Kentucky 😁

                3. No way! Awesomeness!! Will you get to visit the Creation Museum or the Kentucky Derby tracks??? One of my bfs is going there soon, and I’m totally wanna hide in his suitcase lol
Oh I think I’ve heard of that camp, super fun! A few musicians we follow are Andrew Peterson, Scott Mulvahill, just like the ppl who do The Rabbit Room and stuff.

  1. That sounds like so much fun!!!! I’d love to go to Idaho some day, but I’d like to go to Montana first. πŸ˜‰ As far as weather, I’d rather have cooler weather. I don’t care for the heat too much.

    1. It tis! Wow cool, why Montana? Me too, I love layering and wrapping in blankets and cuddling up to get warm enough… but not roasting in heat. πŸ˜‰

  3. It looks life you had TONS of fun!! 😊 I’ve never traveled anywhere either… but hopefully somewhere, sometime, somehow! πŸ˜› Also, your nephews are adorable.
I much prefer warm weather! Winters are freezing and they last forever for us lol. We even had a giant snow storm in April, which was insane for Wisconsin!

Ikr?! And they have the funniest senses of humor πŸ˜‚πŸ‘
Oh man oh wow, I’m sure you’re a bit sick of cold weather then! Hope everything defrosts for you soon so you can enjoy the outdoors again. πŸ™ƒ

      1. Ooh, that’s a hard decision. I really wanna visit Greece, so that would be AWESOME. We’ll see. πŸ˜› Being more realistic tough, I’d say Tennessee.
Lol, oops, I meant to say that we had the storm LAST year. I would lose my sanity if we had another one!

I’ve been to Idaho before…though it was a while ago.πŸ˜‰πŸ™ƒ Right now we are on a long road trip!πŸ˜€πŸ˜€πŸ˜€ So that’s what I’ve been doing lately…sitting in the car!πŸ˜ƒπŸ˜‚πŸ€£πŸ˜‚ I’d say cold weather is the better! I don’t really enjoy the heat very muchπŸ˜πŸ™ƒπŸ˜„ (this might have something to do with the fact that I’ve lived in cold states most of my lifeπŸ˜œπŸ˜‚πŸ˜…)
