Climactic Cleaning

Good news! I found my climax. πŸ˜€

Like, literally.

Its sticky note had been missing from the row of notes for Eagledare’s last quarter, and it was starting to worry me! All I could figure was my puppy friend’s energetic tail had knocked it off the wall atΒ some point when he jumped on my bed.

if only my writer-brain were this organized…

Today I deep cleaned my part of the room–

Testing millions of ink pads (with the coolest color names… “Lilac Mist” or “Orchard Bouquet” anyone?? ❀ ) from the craft cabinet, vacuuming every nook and cranny which took crawling on hands and knees a few times, and moving to the new bookshelf and arranging and re-arranging my books to fit right. Finding random ancient story notes, cracking up over a cheesy poem I’d written in the back of a notebook, and folding plenty of laundry.

Yep, this was a productive and dust-filled day. πŸ˜‰ I now have three different colors of ink on my hands, hair full of good old spiderwebs, and a sparkling writer/reader space I’ll be sharing with my sister-room-mates!

still not perfect, but 100% cozy reading/writing area!

Aaaand… I found it! Diving under my bed, I suddenly spied the bright yellow sticky note way far back. XD *heaves a sigh of relief* Now I need to find the time and energy to work on it…

Oh! Also, I have a DESK!!! 😍😍 My first desk ever, and I’m so in love with it already!

waking up my computer to write this post, and using my messy desk for the first time! πŸ˜€

What did you do today? Have you ever lost important story notes? ~A

  1. Oh how satisfying it must have been to hold that little yellow paper in your hands! I’ve never lost any of my notes, as I keep them on evernote or in my black notebook (which is a notebook that everyone in my family knows I have and what special writing things i have inside πŸ˜‰ )

And I’m SO IN LOVE with your cozy corner!! AUGHH

    1. Yes, it was definitely a very happy moment!! πŸ˜€
That is so great!! And smart haha. XD I have a hard time writing notes in just one place since inspiration usually hits me at random, but after this I am for sure going to be keeping better track of where I put those notes!! πŸ˜‰

Aaah me tooo!!! We’ve always moved houses a lot, so I’m especially excited to finally have a place to have my things and hang out! I can’t decide if I should hang something in the big white space over my desk or just leave it blank… what do you think?

      Thanks for commenting, Covah. πŸ™‚

  4. Ahh, its my dream to one day have a nice little corner for writing and reading (right now my room is packed with bunkbeds for my three other sisters, and my two bookshelves XD) – but one day, ONE DAY I shall have a writing area!
(but it is not this day *cough* XD)
I don’t typically write things down on paper, but once, a few years ago, a large chunk of the story I was writing got erased from my tablet, that was a devastating day for sure. πŸ˜₯

I’m so glad you found your climax though! =D
