Yes, the 4th! My sister, Dad, and I are joining my brother, his family, and I don’t know how many others in a nearby parade. Since my brother is running for a county office, we’ll all be wearing his t-shirts and passing out freezer pops and things. It’ll be hot but fun. Then on the 7th a family from church is hosting a large gathering (everyone is church is invited) for a cookout, ballgames, fireworks and hanging out. More fun. 🙂

Yes! Completely yes, actually! In my own writing, at least, if I can make myself just write, write, write, then it gets me into the story and past the hard parts. And oh boy do I go back and rewrite all that terrible stuff later! But do it anyway!!!

Fireworks are fun my family got some of the more low key (non-flying) kind on our way home from Boise. My sisters and my 6 cousins usually get on our bikes in the evening on the Forth and we bike around our community and watch all our neighbors set off their fireworks. It’s a blast and everyone is always so nice. XD
Have in at the convention! I hope you guys sell a lot of books!

lol Hiya Libby. 😂 Thanks, it’s been fun. 😉 Um, idk! It’s so hard to decide! They’re all such great characters, and I love how they’ve given them more unique personalities than in the old one! Like, in the old TV show John was not in it AT ALL and Alan wasn’t a teenager so it’s fun to ‘meet’ them all over again . 😉 Kate likes it… We couldn’t stop watching episodes and made our family watch some and rewatched with them. 😀

I know! John and Scott are my favorites, but ultimately I love all of them. Yes! I heard that John was practically non-existent in the old one. 😦 I’m glad he’s in this one.
Yeah, and I also heard that Alan and Kayo (Tin-Tin) were actually dating. I’m glad they are not in this series. 😀

Oh dear. Virgil seems to be the favorite a lot. But I totally get where your coming from. I have to not because he’s my sister’s. XD.
My one sister likes him and she’s very very certain about it. My other sister loves Gordon as her favorite. And my baby sister took Alan to be hers because she wants piggyback rides. XD.

No arguing. We’re all very loyal to each other. It sort of worked out in age order actually. We thought John was the oldest at first, and him being an introverted type, I obviously fell for him. Then it fell in place age order.
And then I sort of took Scooter for mine too, but we all sort of share him as our older brother.

Yeah, it’s Scott, then Virgil, John, Gordon and Alan. In the old series it was a Scott and then John and THEN Virgil, but they changed that in this series. And I like it better this way anyway.
What do you (and Kate) think of Kayo?

Kayo is waaay cooler than Tin-Tin, and I love the backstory they are slooowly revealing (no spoilers!) and that she gets her own ship, etc. They’ll probably play with her teensy bit of feminism , but personally I like her. 🙂 Kate said basically the same thing. 😉

Nooo! Because they are ours. They can’t belong to other girls. I mean yeah, it’s canonal that Gordon likes Lady P and Alan crushes on Kayo, but otherwise we choose to ignore those. And we deny ALL head canon ships. XD

Did you know that they are named after the astronauts in a very early space mission? So it’s really cool! There were two other members of that group. Donald and Walter. Someone head cannoned that Alan was actually a twin, and his brother died during birth, that was Walter. And that’s why the older brothers baby him so much.
I’m going to spare you the heartbreaking head canons and fan fictions I’ve plodded through.

Although I would love to, I don’t think I can because I live in California 😥 It would be awesome though!! It’s in Arizona, right?? (just checking in case it’s not 😉 ) My family is going on an all over the country road trip!! (just to a bunch of different states, visiting family and friends. I’m very much looking forwards to it except for the carsickness part. XD I get carsick
but none of the rest of my family does. Do you get carsick? Also I’m the only one in my family who can’t do taco tongue. 😦 Whenever I try to do it, they think it’s hilarious. It’s weird though. Sorry that was random 😛 ) We aren’t going this year or next the year (because we’re starting to build our new house (!!!!!!) and we want to have that done by at least next summer, like before the school year starts next year!! We haven’t started on it yet though, we still have to get the plans through the county!! ) but I think it will be the year after that. Or the year after that, it depends XD So probably either 2020 or 2021 😉
I guess XD we just read different books now than we did when we were younger and we were both going through a bunch of Middle Grade books and series at the same time! (we’re only 2 years apart) but she still does sometimes XD
Lately though our tastes in books have been more different but occasionally she still will XDD It’s really annoying though. Also usually when she does that, she insists on finishing that paragraph or page or chapter or the entire book -_-
Thanks! I’m starting to catch up! I have a minute goal this time instead of a word goal and I’m at 412 minutes out of 1800 minutes! (30 hours. I thought it would be easy to just do one hour a day and then be done with it, but like you, there is a LOT of crazy chatting going on in my cabin XD)
I was going to do hours but I wanted to be able to record it if I like randomly get a 23 minute writing session in sometime during the day XD

What’s really fun is doing word sprints with your cabin mates! Have you done those? We either just go by the clock (like anywhere from 10 minutes to a half hour, depending on how much time we have) and see how many words we can write or we do them on MyWriteClub! They’re super fun though! 😀 (But it does get kinda crazy a lot 😛 I think one time Enni, one of my cabin mates, (she has a blog On the Wings of a Dream, do you follow it?) wrote like 800 words in the 25 minutes gap (that’s how long each sprint is but there is a 5 minute break in between them) I’m pretty sure XD
And I’m trying to finish up my current novel this camp but I’m also including time I spend on other writing projects (like CPC, a completely different novel, writing care packages, stuff like that! Also I’m working on a novel with my sister and friend (which we didn’t try to plot at all, we just went for it *facepalm*) so I’m also typing (we just took turns writing a bit over Google Hangouts — our hangout is called Story Trio! ❤ — but we really should have done Google Docs in the first place, oh well XD) and editing that but I just started doing it today XD) which I think is a better way (for me) to keep myself motivated. Sprints really help me stay motivated too!
