Challenge ACCEPTED!

So I signed up to join our local library’s summer reading program. Not that I need it or anything… like, last year I won it in the first two days. XD

But hey, it’s a lot of fun to track how much I’ve read in one summer,ย and a lot of my siblings are doing it again too. ๐Ÿ™‚

Kate and I got carried away for half an hour, going through our shared bookshelf with three younger siblings and helping them each compile a to-read list.

Then Kate started coming up with ones forย me to read!ย Here’s my summer reading list (so far):

        1. lol I so get you! XD I never ever plan either, but I was all out of books I knew I could read so we had to go searching for some and write them down. ๐Ÿ˜‰

  3. Great post, Anna-wanna!! ๐Ÿ˜‰
Your gravatar is really cute! I like reading in both seasons. In the summer it’s so hot that I don’t want to go outside so it’s a good time to read. In the winter it rains so that is fun too.
Thanks for helping write my book list! It helped a lot. ๐Ÿ™‚

        1. I just finished Love Comes Softly… wow. *heart eyes*
The message is super sweet, and even though it was painful to read about sometimes, I loved the pioneer setting! I think Ma Graham was my favorite character. ๐Ÿ˜‰ โค
This was definitely a good, hardly-romantic romance/marriage of convenience book!

          1. Yay! I’m so glad you liked it! Aw yes, I loved Ma Graham too! ๐Ÿ˜€
            I should re-read it sometime! It’s been awhile. ๐Ÿ™‚

            1. Yeah, I wasn’t sure I would because I don’t usually do romance (ick ๐Ÿ˜› )… that’s just me ๐Ÿ˜‰ , but it was remarkably fun! Way more about the story part instead of just the romance. Aww Ma was sooo cool! Is it weird I liked the side characters more? lol *hides*
Yes! Add it to your summer tbr list. ๐Ÿ˜‰

And very wise! Eeek and I could almost taste the amazing food she cooked! *runs off to cry about what happens at the end (probably my least favorite part of the book)*
LOL Good, because I usually love the side-characters more. XD
                  YAY!!!

Why thank you! ๐Ÿ˜€ I totally forget what happens at the end, it’s been that long (like a year and a half XDD)
SAME! Well it kinda depends on the book, but still ๐Ÿ˜›
                  ๐Ÿ˜€
After I re-read this book (which I will now be doing soon ๐Ÿ˜‰ ) we should do a collab on it or something!

                3. (*whispers “Laura”* *sobs*)

Aww that would be so much fun! I’ve never done a collaboration before so we’d have to figure out how it would work… but that sounds like a blast!
                  Enjoy your re-read!!!

  4. Looks like so much fun! I generally have more time to read in the winter – not as much work outside, etc… (Currently I cut grass each day from when I get home from work until it’s too dark.) But! I do hope to read some this summer anyway. ๐Ÿ™‚ Gotta keep up with those books! ๐Ÿ˜‰

    1. Oh I so understand! Back when we lived in Oregon, my brother and I had to mow acres and acres of land (and grass grew crazy fast there) with a push mower. ๐Ÿ˜ฎ That sounds tough, but I hope you’ll still be able to fit a few books in. ๐Ÿ˜‰

  6. Not sure if you’re a fan of Lamplighter, but they’re having a summer reading challenge as well. Sir Knight of the Splendid Way is really good. I’ve only listened to the audio, but anyway… have fun reading all those books.

  7. How fun. I don’t make lists unless I’m doing reading challenges (which I’ve been doing since last July! ๐Ÿ˜‰ ) Anyway, I have a couple of those books on my TBR list as well. A Different Kind of Courage and At Home in Mitford.

Oh that’s so great!!! I finished reading A Different Kind of Courage and found it really fun! You’ll have to tell me what you think, if you like the “right” characters, etc when you read it. ๐Ÿ˜‰ ๐Ÿ˜›
